Work With Me
If you're a therapist reading this, I already know something about you:
You're good at holding other people's pain. You've built a career on it. And somewhere along the way, you started running on the fumes of your own nervous system — because nobody trained you to tend to that part.
Talk therapy taught you a lot. It didn't teach you what to do when you're the one who's dysregulated. It didn't teach you how to build a practice that doesn't bleed you dry either.
I work at the intersection of those two problems. Not as a life coach with a worksheet. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, university educator, and functional medicine provider who has spent years going deep on the body, the brain, and the business of this work — so you don't have to piece it together alone.
Most of the therapists I work with need some version of more than one of these — a body with the raw materials to actually regulate, a nervous system that isn't running on empty, and a business that isn't either. That's the whole premise of the work I do: you can't build a sustainable practice from a depleted, dysregulated system, and no amount of nervous system work fully lands if your body doesn't have what it needs underneath it.
If you're not sure where to start, that's a normal place to be. Reach out, tell me what's going on, and we'll figure out the right entry point together.

Why HTMA Testing?
HTMA — Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis — is a lab test that uses a small hair sample to reveal your body's mineral levels and ratios over the past several months. Where bloodwork gives you a single snapshot, hair works more like a film reel, showing patterns your body has been running on over time. Minerals aren't just a nutrition detail — they're the spark plugs behind your nervous system, hormones, energy production, stress response, thyroid, and adrenals. When they're depleted or imbalanced, none of those systems can function the way they're built to.
Sandy recommends it because she's lived it. Her own results uncovered a "calcium shell" — a pattern where calcium becomes biologically unavailable and walls the body off, common in people who look composed on the outside while running on empty underneath — along with thyroid and adrenal markers that finally explained a bone-deep fatigue no amount of rest had touched. It's a pattern she sees constantly in healers: the therapy, somatic work, and breathwork are done, and something still isn't shifting. HTMA isn't a replacement for that work — it's the physiological foundation underneath it, often the missing piece that lets everything else actually land.
You’re ready for this if:
You've done the internal work and your body is still running on empty
You're exhausted in a way that sleep and rest don't touch
You're curious what's happening in your biochemistry, not just your nervous system
You're done guessing and ready for data
The Neurofeedback Subscription helps you train your brain to feel more balanced, clear, and focused—without extra therapy sessions or long appointments.
Using the Myndlift app and a Muse headband(purchased separately), Sandy reviews your Mind Map, sets your personalized protocol, and monitors your progress behind the scenes so you can focus on feeling better.

Leaving Insurance Panels is a Nervous System Decision
Your rates are set by someone else. Your reimbursements are approved by someone else. The administrative weight of prior authorizations, treatment reviews, and claim denials falls entirely on you, day after day. That's not a sustainable structure for anyone, let alone someone whose job is to hold other people's regulation together. A lot of the chronic, low-grade dysregulation therapists carry isn't just about client load — it's about operating inside a system that was never built with their nervous system in mind. Exiting that system, thoughtfully, is often one of the most concrete things a therapist can do to actually change their day-to-day baseline.
That's where the Ethical Exit Course comes in. It's a step-by-step course walking therapists through exactly how to leave insurance panels the right way — because leaving isn't the hard part; winging it is. Built from Sandy's own exit story and years of walking other therapists through the same transition, it covers the notice periods buried in old contracts, how to actually talk to clients about the change (the reactions are rarely what you'd expect), and how to build the financial plan before you jump instead of free-falling with extra steps. It doesn't try to talk you into leaving — that decision is yours. It just makes sure that when you do, you're working from a plan instead of a guess.
