About Sandy Boone
Â
Hi, I’m Sandy—a Licensed Professional Counselor, university professor, coach, consultant, and founder of a practice built on one core truth: healing works best when we treat the whole human, not just the symptoms.
For nearly two decades, I’ve walked alongside people navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and the messy middle of life. My approach blends the depth of clinical counseling, the forward-momentum of coaching, and the clarity of functional medicine principles. Think of it as traditional therapy’s wiser, more holistic cousin—the one who drinks her coffee strong, keeps things real, and refuses to separate the mind from the body.
I help clients get curious about what their nervous system is doing, what their physiology is trying to communicate, and how their life experiences shaped their patterns. I teach people how to regulate, not shame themselves; how to build sustainable habits, not quick fixes; and how to access their strongest, most grounded self—even on the days when everything feels like chaos.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a professor who trains future counselors to show up ethically, compassionately, and bravely. I’ve published in Counseling Today, built multi-week mind-body healing programs, and coached professionals across the country who are ready to lead, rise, and do the work in a way that protects their humanity rather than drains it.
I’m also a mom to adult children, a lover of kayaking and travel, and someone who chooses humanity every. single. time. That means I work with people from all walks of life, all identities, and all backgrounds—because healing is a human right, not a privilege.
Whether you’re here because anxiety has been running the show, because your body is waving red flags you can’t ignore anymore, or because you’re ready to expand into the version of yourself you’ve been circling for years—I’m glad you’re here. My work is all about helping you reconnect with your resilience, reclaim your clarity, and step into a life that feels aligned, sustainable, and truly your own.
If you’re ready to begin, I’m ready to walk with you.
